Call for Abstract

1. General Information

20th Sensors & their Applications Conference and 5th International Conference of Fibre Optic and Photonic Sensors for Industrial and Safety Applications (OFSIS) will be held on Limerick, Ireland, August 11th - 14th 2024.

The Conference aims to bring both researchers and instrument developers and users together from across the world to discuss the latest developments in and directions for the field.

The Conference will cover:

·Practical developments of sensors and sensor systems 'in the field'

·A wide range of application areas, with an emphasis on both applied and theoretical aspects

·All aspects of the theory, research, development, manufacturing and applications of the science, engineering and technology of the highly interdisciplinary field that comprises sensors, sensor systems and their applications

·Results of research embracing both simulation and experimental work, which may deal with practical or new industrial applications related to innovative sensors

·New developments in sensor design, including modelling

·The applications of sensors to novel research in different areas of instrumentation

Of particular interest are recent developments in the field, including:

·Sensors for Industry 4.0 and Digital Twins

·Sensor data fusion

·Sensors and machine learning and Artificial Intelligence

·Sensor use and evaluation in industry including sensor packaging, Sensor durability and long-term testing and evaluation

·Education and training in sensors and sensor systems and health and safety aspects of the use of sensor systems.
