Professor of Xi'an Jiaotong University

Prof. Xueyong Wei obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham in 2009. He then worked in the University of Cambridge as research associate before joined Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2012. Currently, he is the head of School of Instrument Science and Technology and the leader of Shaanxi Innovation Team on Micro/Nano Sensing and Measurement Technology.

Prof. Xueyong WEI studied and then worked in the UK for 7 years. He was also the deputy director of the International Office of Xi’an Jiaotong University, in charge of international cooperation and exchanges of the whole university for 5 years. Now, he is the executive director of International Joint Laboratory of Micro/Nano Manufacturing and Measurement Technology (Ministry of Education, China) since 2015. He has built collaboration with Universities from the UK, Japan and Australia. He has many international joint projects and publications.
